Vine variety
Nebbiolo
Characteristics
Clear, shiny red wine, with ruby tints. Armonic and elegant aroma, with hints of liquorice. The strong presence of tannin, typical of the Nebbiolo vine variety, makes the taste savoury and persistent to the palate.
Fermentation
Alcoholic fermentation and maceration in stainless steel, for seven to ten days. The malolactic fermentation occurs naturally, in stainless steel, with the temperature increase during the summer months.
Refinement
In french oak barrels (2000 litres) for about 18/20 months.
